It is made of 260 brass alloy which contains 70% copper and 30% zinc, and meets ASTM B16 standards. This corrosion resistant rod has excellent machinability and ductility. It can be used for shafts, bearings, bushings, and other precision machined parts and components. With its 360 Brinell hardness, the rod offers good wear resistance while still being easy to machine. Overall, this 3 foot long brass rod provides versatile material for machining, fabrication and metalworking applications.

This 3/32 inch diameter brass rod stock from Grainger is 3 feet long and comes in a pack of 5 rods. It is made from C36000 free-cutting brass alloy which contains lead and is machinable. The rods have a smooth surface finish and meet ASTM B16 standards. They can be cut, machined, or otherwise fabricated for various applications where a corrosion resistant, strong copper alloy is needed. The brass alloy has good formability.
